Clothing Sale
Our quarterly clothing sale helps fund vital programs and gives clients and the general public a chance to shop our curated collection of professional attire and accessories at low prices. Volunteers on event day will primarily work indoors in the Wearhouse™ performing tasks such as merchandising, organization, cleaning, moving inventory and supplies, customer service, and other retail-like activities. May include ringing up purchases, handling payments, making change and running credit cards. Those who are physically able to should expect to be on their feet for the entire shift, and may need to bend, reach, lift, and carry up to 30lbs for short periods of time. Please contact us in advance to arrange for any necessary accommodations. All volunteers for this position must be 18+ years of age, and sign a waiver of liability. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes and casual layered clothing as you will be physically active and temperatures may vary. You may encounter dust, dirt, and spills. |
Donation Day
Donation Day volunteers will work both outside and indoors, generally on a rotation. Tasks may include directing traffic, greeting donors, unloading vehicles, loading carts, and moving donations around the Wearhouse™. Volunteers should expect to be on their feet the entire shift, and will need to bend, reach, lift, and carry 50+lbs repeatedly. Please contact us in advance to arrange for any necessary accommodations. All volunteers for this position must be 18+ years of age, and sign a waiver of liability. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes/boots and casual layered clothing. Volunteers must have complete and proper outerwear including mittens or gloves during winter. |
Wearhouse™
It’s not just a warehouse, our collection of professional women’s clothing and accessories is so epic we have a Wearhouse™! Depending on program needs, these volunteers may sort, inspect, hang, organize, display, and otherwise process and care for our stock. Volunteers can expect to be standing most of the time if able, and some tasks may require general facility cleaning, light lifting, bending, pushing carts, reaching, etc. Please contact us in advance to arrange for any necessary accommodations. All volunteers for this position must be 18+ years of age, and sign a waiver of liability, or be accompanied by a participating adult for the entirety of the shift. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes and casual layered clothing as you will be physically active and temperatures may vary in the WEARhouse. You may encounter dust, dirt, and spills, as well as cleaning chemicals. |
