Wearhouse™ Volunteering
Warehouse volunteers assist with taking in clothing donations, sorting and prepping clothing, shoes, and accessories, assembling client Confidence Kits (clothing packages) and delivering packages to clients with transportation challenges.
Volunteer Engagement Includes:

- Opportunity for 2-6 employees to volunteer for 2-3 hours
Donation Intake
Volunteering for donation intake is an energizing employee engagement experience. We encourage volunteers to dress casually in comfortable shoes. There may be some lifting involved (20-50 pounds) as we gather clothing from community donors, bring them into our facility in boxes, bags, and on hangers. Tasks sometimes include sorting clothing to determine what can be kept and provided to clients and what will be re-donated to other community resources. If volunteers have any type of lifting limitations or other physical barriers, we provide other fun tasks such as sorting jewelry.

Professional Women's Group
Leading a Professional Women’s Group meeting allows you the opportunity to not only meet 15-20 of our women, tell them all about your company and hiring needs, but gives you a chance to teach our clients skills they need to advance their careers. Once a client gains employment, she is invited to join our monthly Professional Women’s Group meetings that occur on the second Tuesday night of each month and includes time to connect and network.
Volunteer Engagement Includes:
Leading a Professional Women’s Group meeting allows you the opportunity to not only meet 15-20 of our women, tell them all about your company and hiring needs, but gives you a chance to teach our clients skills they need to advance their careers.
