Toweya Brown-Ochs

DFSTC Board Chair, Toweya Brown-Ochs has been featured as a 2022 Twin Cities Business Notable DEI Executive. Brown-Ochs is an industry leader working to expand DEI strategy that impacts the employees, patients and members at one of Minnesota’s largest health networks-HealthPartners. In addition to her efforts promoting inclusive work environments, Brown-Ochs works to connect colleagues and facilitate discussion so they may work on issues specific to their communities. This includes Black and African American communities and LGBTQIA2S+ communities. She also spearheded an inclusive leader cohort, which focuses on elevating diverse candidates and creating an inclusive team and workforce. The program was so successful that there’s a 2023 waiting list for additional sessions!
