
Juliet "Ms. J" Mitchell is a licensed etiquette expert, professional development consultant, etiquette coach, speaker and author. Mitchell has a strong background in etiquette education including experience as a Dining Etiquette Facilitator, Workshop Facilitator and speaker with Minnesota State University- Mankato, St Cloud State University, Neighborhood Development Center and more! In addition, Mitchell spent 10 years as a faculty member of National American University teaching courses like Career Management, Strategies for Success, Psychology, Human Development and many more. During this time, Mitchell founded and operated Eagles Wings, LLC, a consulting service providing Social Education and Career Coaching, and Life Etiquette Institute beginning in 2001. Life Etiquette Institute is a consulting and coaching company specializing in business and social etiquette and career development. Life Etiquette Institute serves corporations, children and youth-oriented organizations, community groups and colleges.
Annually, Life Etiquette Institute presents the Life Etiquette Gold Star Award to community organizations and an individuals who has exemplify the core principles of Life Etiquette: Respect for self, Respect for others, and Respect for the world around you (us). This year, DFSTC is honored to accept the award!
Ms. J had this to say about why DFSTC was chosen as recipient of the award: As a volunteer and mentor for Dress for Success for the past four years, I have had the privilege of not only watching but also participating in how they serve women. Treating every participant with dignity and respect, the staff, volunteers, mentors, and coaches are sensitive to the needs for every participant. The Dress for Success team seeks to get to know each participant and provide the services they need to learn, grow and build personal and professional confidence while striving for economic independence.
As a recipient of this award, DFSTC received a complimentary business dining etiquette workshop for staff and ULead participants.

Ms. J describes below what keeps her driven to support her community: My passion is for new and emerging professionals (NEPS) but I am also joy-filled when I get to pour into the lives of our little ones. Many young adults did not receive the lessons and therefore can't teach their children. That's where I find great joy. I see the difference it makes in their lives
