Debra is a shining example of resilience and determination. She recently shared an update with us, shedding light on her inspiring journey.
Debra is not only a part-time team member at Urban Wok in Saint Paul, but she is also a full-time student at Red Lake Nation College, Minneapolis. Her pursuit of education while working is already a significant achievement, but there's more to her story.
Debra is currently in supportive housing, a vital step in her recovery from substance abuse. Her journey to sobriety has spanned two years, marking a testament to her strength and unwavering commitment. In her own words, she credits DFSTC for helping her regain control of her life from the relentless grip of addiction and mental health struggles.
