Dress for Success Twin Cities is proud to welcome JoAnn Southwell to its Board of Directors. JoAnn brings her HR and legal leadership experience from Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America, a partner whose continued support has helped us reach more women across Minnesota.

JoAnn Southwell is a licensed attorney and Human Resources executive with more than 20 years of leadership experience in employee relations, organizational culture, and legal compliance. She currently serves as Assistant Vice President of People & Culture Services at Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America, where she leads HR operations for over 2,000 employees. Prior to Allianz Life, JoAnn held leadership positions at Securian Financial Group, The Travelers Companies, and Alltel Communications. She holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Lyon College.

In her spare time, JoAnn enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and spending time in nature.
