Her Story After two years out of the workforce recovering from double hip surgery, Dasiyah came to Dress for Success Twin Cities ready for a fresh start. Through confidence coaching, workplace attire, and the support of a community that believed in her, she rebuilt her confidence and her career. Dasiyah's story is a powerful reminder that when we invest in a woman's confidence and career readiness, the impact ripples forward, into her community and the next generation.

How We Helped   Confidence Coaching Bi-weekly sessions with her success coach helped Dasiyah rebuild her confidence and practice workplace communication before re-entering the job market.   Confidence Kits Workplace attire that fit her after her hip surgeries gave Dasiyah confidence to walk into interviews and her new workplace.   Positive Network of Support Hearing from women who came before her, and the advice they shared, gave Dasiyah a roadmap and the encouragement to keep going.   Online Programming Our online programming rounded out her preparation, giving Dasiyah tools and community she could return to at every stage of her journey.

Today, Dasiyah is interning with AmeriCorps, teaching digital literacy to those without access to technology, and paying her success forward.
